Hi and welcome to my blog.
My name is Briony Elliott and apart from my family, photography is my first love. I don’t know exactly what it was that made me fall in love with photography, but since childhood, I can always remember having a camera in hand, perhaps the fact that I can’t sing or paint, it was only natural that this was how I could express myself. I love being able to freeze that moment in time, and I love looking back at that photo and remembering what it was about that moment that made me want to keep it forever.
Apart from my camera, I love my partner, Chris and my son, Jacob. I’m a bit of a purple freak (in case you’d not picked up on that already 
), love hanging with my friends and family, watching a great movie, laughing, snuggling on a cold winters day, reading a great book, good wine, fine bubbles and vodka. Chocolate!!! Love it! It’s a weakness, along with icecream.
Over the years I’ve always been affiliated with photography in some way shape or form. My very first fulltime job out of school was working for a photography lab, where I worked in the shop dealing directly with the clients. Eventually I moved to another job role where I was behind the machine developing the prints for the clients. I loved this job. I was able to see the world through the eyes of my customers, I watched families begin and grow, I watched sports stars being made…and all the while I was out there taking my own photos of family, friends, and whatever took my fancy.
Whilst life took a direction for me back then that didn’t suit to studying photography fulltime, I did what I could here and there, learning from customers, mentors and trainers within my industry. I maintained my love and passion for capturing a moment in time, and now life has presented me with a new opportunity to realise my dream of working as a professional photographer.
I prefer to shoot with natural lighting, capturing fun, relaxed, comfortable photos that you can look back on and remember the occassion with happiness. I will travel to a location(s) of your choosing and fully believe that this is all about you and yours, not me. You’ll find me approachable, relaxed with a good sense of humour.
